Fluke Acquires Reliable Power Meters

April 29, 2002 by Jeff Shepard

Fluke Corp. (Everett, WA) acquired Reliable Power Meters (RPM, Los Gatos, CA) for an undisclosed price. The sale of the power quality monitoring and analysis technology manufacturer was finalized April 15. Fluke plans to integrate RPM’s product line into its electrical products organization.

"Fluke has been active in the power quality market for many years," noted Fluke President Jim Lico. "But to this point, our products have been designed solely for single-phase applications. The acquisition of RPM positions us well in the three-phase segment of the power quality market."
