Fairchild Expands Management Team in Korea

Fairchild Semiconductor International Inc. (South Portland, ME) announced the appointment of Kyung-Jae Lee as Vice President of Marketing of the Global Power Resource Design Center™ in Bucheon, South Korea. He will be responsible for the marketing and field application engineering activities, as well as directing development of complete system power solutions with customers at the center. Lee will report to Regional Vice President of Sales and Marketing Chan-Goo Park.

Lee joins Fairchild from Texas Instruments Inc. (dallas, TX) where for more than 17 years he held various management positions in analog products, distribution and sales. Previously, he worked for Samsung Electronics, leading a team of engineers in developing graphic products for personal computers.

"Kyung-Jae's sales and marketing record of increasing revenue, winning new business and creating strategic partnerships for major accounts will be very valuable to Fairchild," said Chan-Goo Park. "He brings a unique blend of analog power product technical expertise combined with extensive customer experience in Korea. Fairchild is moving rapidly to solidify our team globally as we focus our efforts to develop higher-value power semiconductors. Kyung-Jae will strengthen our team in Korea and be able to contribute immediately."
