Ericsson (Sweden) reported that the nomination committee proposed that Ulf Johansson be elected member of the board. The company also announced the re-election of Sir Peter Bonfield, Sverker Martin-Löf, Nancy McKinstry, Arne Mårtensson, Eckhard Pfeiffer, Carl-Henric Svanberg, Michael Treschow and Marcus Wallenberg. Lena Torell has declined re-election. As a consequence, the nomination committee proposed that the number of board members be nine, and that no Deputy Board members be appointed.
The nomination committee proposed that Bengt Belfrage, Christer Elmehagen, Curt Källströmer, Björn Svedberg, and Michael Treschow be considered as members of the nomination committee until the end of the Annual General Meeting in 2006. Further, the nomination committee proposes no fee be paid to the committee members.
