Energy Conversion Devices Inc. (ECD, Rochester Hills, MI) announced that James Metzger, a board member since July 2000, will join ECD's senior management team as Vice Chairman effective November 1, 2002. Metzger comes to ECD after over 30 years with Texaco Inc. (Westchester, NY).
