Dynex Semiconductor Ltd. (Lincoln, UK) announced that it has been awarded ISO 14001 certification, which recognizes environmental management systems that provide quantified, objective measures to ensure ever-greater reductions in energy use, environmental impact and natural resource depletion. Dynex has achieved the certification as part of its ongoing commitment to improving the environment through its processes and products.

President and CEO Michael LeGoff commented, "We are very pleased to have achieved the ISO14001 environmental certification. We consider it recognition by an international standards body for the way we have been operating for some time. We are also proud to support our customers around the world through the supply of very high-energy power semiconductors. Our products are used to improve the electrical efficiency in power distribution systems, low emission electric vehicles and in sustainable energy applications such as wind and solar power generation. This certification strengthens our position as an international supplier and enhances business performance while ensuring good environmental stewardship."
