DTE Energy, Menag Sign Distribution Agreement

DTE Energy Technologies Inc. (Detroit, MI) and Menag Holding AG announced the signing of a joint distribution agreement, unifying the two companies' product lines under the energy|now™ brand. The agreement's vision is for each company to utilize the products, services and distribution networks developed by the other.

DTE Energy will gain access to an experienced organization with sales, service, packaging and assembly capabilities in Europe for its current and future energy|now products. Similarly, Menag will gain access to a sales, service and marketing infrastructure that will aid in its expansion throughout North America and the rest of the world. Menag will be the exclusive energy|now distributor in Switzerland, Austria, Germany and the countries comprising Eastern Europe.

DTE Energy Technologies will provide its broad portfolio of energy|now on-site energy systems and energy|now system operations center expertise. The energy|now product portfolio includes electric-only and cogeneration packaged systems from 75kW to more than 1MW, using advanced internal combustion engines, Stirling engines and mini turbines fueled by natural gas, as well as renewable fuels. The system operations center is a remote monitoring and control system that ensures continuous reliability and efficiency.
