Digital Induction Lighting an option to “Volatile” LEDs

EverLast® Lighting, Inc. launched its highly anticipated new Digital Induction system collaboratively developed with Robert Bosch, LLC. Through the use of intelligent power management, innovative lamp manufacturing processes and proprietary phosphor blends, the Tesleon® System boasts a lumen maintenance curve of LM-85 at 100,000 hours and will give reluctant consumers an alternate to the "volatile" LED product options.

When asked what about LEDs is “volatile”, EverLast’s Kyle Leighton commented, “What isn't volatile about LEDs? Since LEDs have made their debut, there have been several changes regarding the warranty terms, lumen output claims, energy savings, and life expectancy. Unfortunately consumers often seek affirmation instead of information making the facts about LED smoke and mirrors. Nearly all LED manufactures have backed off initial warranty claims from 10 years to 5 years, publishing lumen per watt data that was taken outside of the fixture instead of inside the fixture housing, and have backed off their initial 100,000 hour claim down to 50,000-60,000 hours. These are just a few of the antics that we are seeing industry wide.”

EverLast® digital induction light fixtures are 50-70% more energy efficient than high pressure sodium and metal halides and are rated up to 100,000 hours, making them virtually maintenance free for up to 15 years.
