Digi-Key Stocks New Bourns SinglFuse™ Line Of Thin Film Chip Fuses
Digi-Key Corp. announced that it has expanded its line of products from Bourns, Inc. to include the manufacturer’s new line of SinglFuse™ thin film chip fuses.
Bourns’ SinglFuse products protect against a wide range of overcurrent events and feature current ratings from as low as 500mA up to 7A. The thin film design of Bourns’ new SinglFuse products ensures high precision for specific fusing characteristics. Single-acting fuses are specifically designed for applications which require one-time acting fuses that allow a physical break in the circuit if a short circuit arises, eliminating the need for a circuit reset. The thin film design allows customers to order customized thin chip fuses to meet their specific product needs. The Bourns SinglFuse line is also RoHS compliant and halogen free. Applications include LCD monitors, digital cameras, cell phones, industrial controllers, and rechargeable battery packs.
