Digi-Key Inks Global Distribution Agreement With Murata Power Solutions; Expands Agreement With Tyco Electronics

Digi-Key Corp. announced that it has recently signed an agreement for the worldwide distribution of Murata Power Solutions products. Murata Power Solutions is a manufacture of dc-dc converters, ac-dc converters, power supplies, digital panel meters, magnetics, and data acquisition devices for applications that include telecommunications, computing, industrial, and other high-tech applications.

Digi-Key also announced that it has recently expanded its current franchise agreement with Tyco Electronics to a global authorization. Tyco Electronics is a large supplier of passive electronic components, which includes connectors and interconnection systems, relays, switches, circuit protection devices, touch screens, sensors and wire and cable. These products are used primarily in the automotive, computer, consumer electronics, communication equipment, appliance, aerospace and defense, industrial machinery and instrumentation markets.
