Delta Electronics Inc. (Taipei, Taiwan) announced that Chairman and CEO Bruce Cheng has made a substantial financial donation to support technological advancement and education at a local university. One million shares of Delta stock have been presented to National Cheng Kung University in support of the K. T. Li Technology Lectureship.
"It is my hope that this donation will create a long-lived opportunity for cooperation between the industry and the university," said Cheng. "I am also optimistic that supporting the K. T. Li Lectureship will contribute to the development of the Taiwanese economy, as well as technological innovation."
