DC Group completes Expansion

The headquarters expansion of DC Group on the banks of the Mississippi River in North Minneapolis has been completed. The company spent $7.3 million to renovate its building and add a two-level wing to it. DC Group provides reliable uninterruptible power supply (UPS) backup power service and maintenance to clients throughout the United States and Canada. DC Group is an eight-time honoree on the Inc. 500/5000, Inc. Magazine's annual list of fastest-growing companies.

“We needed more space, but wanted a visually beautiful building that complemented the riverbank. We were thrilled to be able to remain in this location and to improve our presence here,” CEO Jon Frank said.

In addition to aesthetic upgrades to the site and streetscape through a bold curved design and large windows, the building offers an additional 25,000 square feet. This includes warehouse space, product innovation areas, and a gym and shower area to promote health among employees.

“The additional capacity ensures that we’ll continue to be able to provide rapid and professional response and service to our clients, even as we maintain our trajectory of continued growth,” Frank said.

DC Group recently introduced an innovative suite of software solutions.
