Clean Energy Enters Agreement with Windkraft

February 05, 2003 by Jeff Shepard

Clean Energy Inc. (Edmonton, Alberta, Canada) has entered into an exclusive singular licensing agreement for all worldwide jurisdictions outside of Europe with Windkraft Inc. (Woodlands, TX) for its patented wind turbine and patented ac permanent magnet generator. Although current production is in Germany, the agreement provides Clean Energy the opportunity to manufacture the products in North America. Clean Energy will also be developing 10kW and larger twin power wind turbines under the terms of the agreement.

Clean Energy will market the current WINDKRAFT 1.5 twin power model that is able to produce up to 5kW in many applications, including residential homes, acreages, agriculture, irrigation, remote communication power and isolated northern communities. The patented wing (rotor) of the turbine allows for greater efficiencies in generating electricity, lower noise levels, and more flexibility in generating energy at both low and high wind speeds compared to other similar-sized wind turbines.
