Board of Directors of Altair International Approves Name Change

Altair International Inc. (Cody, WY) announced that its board of directors has approved a name change to Altair Nanotechnologies Inc. The name of the company's wholly owned subsidiary will also be changed, from Altair Technologies to Altair Nanomaterials Corp.

"The Altair corporate vision is to become the leading supplier of nanoparticle materials worldwide. The name change reflects this vision and clarifies for investors Altair's position as one of the few publicly traded nanotechnology stocks," said Dr. William Long, president of the company.
