Ballard Power Systems Inc. (Vancouver, BC) announced it has received a $2.0 million order from Nissan Motor Co. Ltd. (Japan) for its Mark 902 fuel cell modules and support services, for delivery in 2002.
"This order continues the long-standing relationship between Ballard and Nissan," said Andreas Truckenbrodt, vice president of Ballard's transportation division. "Ballard's Mark 902 fuel cell modules will enable Nissan to advance their fuel cell vehicle development efforts. Ballard is committed to supplying our customers with the best-performing, lowest-cost, fuel cell solution."
