RAVPower announced the launch of what the company claims to be the smallest PD 61W GaN Wall Charger. The RAVPower PD Pioneer Wall Charger measures 1.9in x 1.9in x 1.2in and is 50% smaller than a standard MacBook Pro chargers.

According to the company, the "Pioneer" model name refers to GaN, the next generation of technology in power chargers. The company claims that the charger can charge all USB-C compatible devices at more than 2.5x faster than existing chargers on the market (based on lab measurements).

The device offers a charging efficiency of over 93%. The charger takes ac input of 100V to 240V, and 1.5 A at 50/60Hz. Its advanced chip manages power for the necessary 3A dc output voltage depending on device requirements of 5V, 9V, 12V, 15V, 20V, or 20.3V.

The charger weighs 105g (3.7oz).
