Yuasa Intros the DCX Battery

Yuasa Inc. (Reading, PA) introduced the DXC battery, a new wrapped calcium flat plate battery optimized for high-rate, short-duration discharges. Designed for UPS and switchgear applications, the battery features a U-Wrap separator, which encircles the bottom of the positive plate, leaving the sides exposed.

The DXC battery offers an expanded capacity of up to 5.089kW per cell to 1.67VPC at the 15-minute rate.
