Yuasa Intros New AAAC800 NiMH Batteries

Yuasa (Tianjin) Technology Ltd. (China) announced its new AAAC800 rechargeable nickel-metal hydride (NiMH) batteries, which are suitable for communications equipment, CD players, headphone stereos, VCRs, LCD TV receivers and PCs. The batteries offer a capacity of 0.8 Ah, and have a charging current and time of 75 mA (16 h, standard) or 0.75 Ah (1 h, rapid). Featuring a nominal voltage of 1.2 V, the 12.2 g batteries come in dimensions of 10.5 mm x 44.5 mm.
