XPiQ Announces New PCM90 Series Power Supplies
XPiQ Inc. (Holliston, MA), a worldwide manufacturer and supplier of ac/dc and dc/dc power supply products, introduced the new PCM90 Series of medical-approved power supplies. The new 90W, desktop series offers an extensive selection of models including 15-single, 9-dual and 6-triple outputs. Single models feature a wide choice of output voltages from 3.3V to 48V. The output voltage range for both dual and triple models is from 3.3V to 24V. Designed for usage in a variety of medical applications, the new series features low leakage current, high isolation and input-surge current protection.
Measuring only 3.07in x 6.63in x 1.97in, the PCM90 delivers up to 90W of continuous power depending on the model. The power is generated without derating in operating temperatures from 0°C to 40°C and with derating up to 70°C. Standard features for the PCM90 Series include 4,000Vac isolation, low leakage current, both line and neutral fused, active power-factor correction, over-voltage protection on output #1 and over-current protection with auto recovery.
The PCM90 Series is approved to UL2601, CSA C22.2 No.601-1 and EN60601, carries the CE Mark, and meets Class B for conducted EMI. The PCM90 is priced as low as $54 for 1,000 pieces. The series will be available late in the fourth-quarter. Samples are available in small quantities.
