Wall Industries Announces New DC-DC Converter Packs Up To 15W

Wall Industries, Inc. announced the new "JF/JFW" Series of 15W, low profile (0.335), and RoHS compliant board mount dc-dc converters. All models are said to be well suited to telecommunications, industrial, mobile telecom and test equipment applications. These converters accept 18 to 36Vin or 36 to 75Vin (JF) and 9 to 36 or 18-75Vin (JFW) dc wide range input. This series has single outputs of 3.3, 5, 12 or 15Vdc and a weight of 10.5g.

The supply is housed in a 1.1’’ x 0.94’’ x 0.335’’ package but has the industry standard pin-out of the standard 1’’ x 2’’ x 0.40’’ package. This is said to allow the user to save valuable PC board space. The series is available in through hole or SMD style packages for surface mount automation. Additional features include efficiencies to 88%, open frame design, wide operating temperature of -40 to +85°C, no minimum load requirements, voltage adjustable to ± 10%, remote on/off, line and load regulation of 0.2%, short circuit protection and more.

The "JF and JFW" series is priced in OEM quantities as follows: the JF series at $14.99, and the JFW series at $17.15.
