Wall Industries Announces New 6 – 60W DC-DC Converter Chassis Mount

Wall Industries, Inc. broadens its product offering with the new "CM" Series of chassis mount dc-dc converters. This series offers three different chassis mount options: open frame, U channel, and enclosed. The CM series provides 2:1 dc input voltages of 9-18Vin, 18-36Vin, and 36-75Vin as well as 4:1 dc input voltages of 9-36Vin and 18-75Vin. This series also has single outputs ranging from 1.5 to 15Vdc and output power ranging from 6 to 60W.

The terminal block feature of this series is said to allow easy and secure connections since it accepts bare wire without the need of connectors or a pc board for interconnection. It also facilitates users’ field installation capabilities- a soldering iron is not required for installation or replacement. The CM chassis mount series is small in size measuring only 4 x 2.25 x 0.81" and a maximum weight of only 7 ounces. Additional features include efficiencies up to 91%, short circuit protection, and remote on/off. All models are well suited for mobile telecom, industrial, telecommunications, and test equipment applications.
