VAC Releases New Powerline Series Transformers

Vacuumschmelze GmbH and Co. KG (VAC, Germany) released the new Powerline Series of transformers that provides the performance required by the Homeplug 1.0 standard, as well as EIA 709.2, CEA R7.3 and the European CENELEC EN 50065-1 specification. The transformers feature magnetic cores based on the Vitrovac and Vitroperm alloys, which are claimed by the company to offer high electrical performance over the whole spectrum of transmitted frequencies.

The devices are also EMC-compliant and feature packaging technology for high-quality galvanic separation that complies with all aspects of the UL1950/EN60950 safety standards.
