V-Infinity Offers New UF224 Series U-frame DC Converter Kit
V-Infinity LLC (Beaverton, OR) introduced its new UF224 Series U-frame installation kit that is designed to facilitate easy application of single-output, 2 in x 2 in board-mount dc-dc converters. The rugged design of the U-frame Series makes it suitable for a number of industrial applications, including automotive, testing and automation equipment.
The kit includes all components needed to operate the converter, removing the need to procure PCB, metal frame, mounting hardware, and filtering and protection components. Screw terminals for input and output connections further increase the ease of installation. An optional mounting adapter allows the unit to be DIN-rail mounted.
The exact dimensions of the U-frame kit measure 4.0 in x 2.25 in x 0.75 in. The unit includes an input fuse, input transient protection and input reversal protection. The UF224 also meets EN55022 class B conducted emissions. Output trimming is possible via an optional trim potentiometer.
