V-Infinity Intros VAD Series DC-DC Converters

V-Infinity LLC (Beaverton, OR) introduced its new VAD Series of compact dc-dc converters with 3 kV isolation. The units are designed for applications that require high voltage isolation, including medical applications.

Measuring 1.25 in x 0.8 in x 0.4 in, the VAD Series features a 24-pin, dip pinout and operates with an efficiency of up to 82%. The units are available in single-output and dual-output versions with 2:1 or 4:1 input ranges. They are rated from 3 W to 7.5 W in 3.3 V to 15 V single-output models, and ±5 V to ±15 V dual-output models. Trimmable output voltage is available via an external resistor. Features include remote on/off control with an operating temperature of -25 °C to +70 °C, and short-circuit protection.

All units in the VAD Series carry UL recognition. Pricing starts at $6.96 per unit.
