V-Infinity Introduces New 320W Power Supply

New Products Feb 01, 2007 by Jeff Shepard

V-Infinity introduced a new family of RoHS compliant 320W switching power supplies that are available in three compact case styles. The units are designed for a range of information technology, datacom, wireless, and industrial applications.

Dimensions of the VF-S320 series measure 6.0 x 4.0 x 1.5 inches in the u-frame version, 7.0 x 4.0 x 1.6 inches in the metal-enclosed w/rear dc fan version, and 6.0 x 4.0 x 2.0 inches in the metal-enclosed w/top dc fan version. All models feature power factor correction (EN61000-3-2 class A), with a maximum power output of 320W with 22 C.F.M. of forced air cooling. Additionally, the power supplies are able to provide 700W of peak power within a 500 ìS duty duration.

Input voltage is auto-selectable, ranging from 90~132 Vac or 180~264Vac. Available voltage outputs range from 2.0 to 60.0 Vdc in each case style. The units produce full output power from 0 to 50°C and de-rate linearly from 50 to 70°C, at which point the VF-S320 still produces 50% output at 70°C. Control and protection features include remote on/off, over voltage, over current, over temperature, and short circuit protections. All models are approved to UL, cUL, and TUV safety standards. OEM pricing starts at $71.28 per unit.
