V-Infinity Adds Line Of Compact 3W AC-DC Power Modules

V-Infinity, a division of CUI Inc., has added a new line of ac-dc power modules that provide 3 watts of power in a compact encapsulated package. The VSK-S3 is designed for a wide range of applications where space is limited such as telecom or datacom.

These units measure 1.46 x 0.91 x 0.59". They accept a universal input voltage (85 to 264Vac or 110 to 370Vdc), offer efficiencies up to 78% in the 24V model, and are rated for operation at 100% load from -0 to 50°C ambient.

The VSK-S3 series delivers output voltages ranging from 3.3 to 24V among 6 separate single output models. Features include an isolation voltage of 3,000Vac, short circuit protection, thermal shutdown, low output ripple and noise, and UL60950 safety approvals.
