Ultra-thin Isolated Regulated Output 15W DC-DC Converters

Recently, MORNSUN added a new 15W dc-dc series -URB-J(M)D/T-15W- to its ultra-thin (the thinnest is 5.8mm) isolated regulated output family. The new series URB-J(M)D/T-15W deliver a 4:1 ultra-wide input range, feature 1500Vdc isolation voltage, and provide efficiencies up to 89%. SMD and DIP packages are available.

In addition to EN62368 certification, protections for input under-voltage, over voltage, over-current, and output short circuit are also featured, which would make the converters perfect for industrial control, electricity, instruments, and communication fields. The image above shows a block diagram of a potential application in an unmanned aerial vehicle.

The Vin options range from 9V to about 36V or  from 18V to about 75V. The converts have versions with Vout of 3.3V, 5V, 12V, or 15V. Both the DIP and SMD packages have versions with thicknesses ranging from 5.8mm to 6.80mm. The input-case resistance, input-output resistance, and output-case resistance at 500Vdc, Ta = 25℃, humidity = 70%RH are 100MΩ.
