Tripp Lite Debuts SmartPro 5000 RT3U UPS System

Tripp Lite (Chicago, IL) introduced the SmartPro 5000 RT3U UPS System (model # SMART5000RT3U). The SmartPro 5000 RT3U expands Tripp Lite’s line of SmartPro Rackmount UPS Systems from 450VA to 5,000VA. The system provides mission-critical equipment with full-featured power protection, including battery backup, automatic voltage regulation, surge suppression and line noise filtering, as well as comprehensive remote-management capabilities.

The Smart 5000 RT3U provides solid battery runtime in the event of blackout, 208V/240V input voltage, and a full power output of both 208V and 120V to accommodates a variety of servers, networking and telecom equipment. The Smart 5000 includes a 3U rackmount battery pack (model # BP48V60RT-3U), and runtimes can be increased indefinitely with additional battery packs. Convenient hot-swap battery replacement ensures constant uptime.

The SmartPro 5000 RT3U features 14 ac outlets, including 15A, 20A and 30A receptacles to ensure maximum connection flexibility and control. Other features include an emergency power-off connection, a 10ft power cord and an optional black bezel to match the color of existing rackmount equipment. Tripp Lite guarantees the reliability of its SmartPro Rackmount UPS Systems with $50,000 lifetime insurance covering connected equipment against surge damage, including direct lightning strikes.
