Transitronix Releases Series Of High Isolation DC-DC Converters

Transitronix has released a new series of high isolation dc-dc converters with input/output continuous isolation of 15,000Vdc. Th units will withstand as much as 20,000Vdc for 60-seconds and 25,000Vdc for 1-second. The 1W units come in 12 or 15Vdc fixed input versions and with 5, 12 or 15Vdc single or dual outputs.

The unit is packaged in a 2.1 x 0.9 x 0.8", pcb-mountable, encapsulated plastic enclosure. Operating temperature range is 0 to +50°C at full power. All units are RoHS compliant.

Typical applications include: transportation systems, medical equipment, instrumentation, IGBT switching, high voltage power supplies, motor controls, inverters, telemetry systems, x-ray equipment, semiconductor manufacturing equipment, and high voltage vacuum tube applications.

The units are priced at $15.00 in 1,000-piece quantities (single output). Delivery is 4-5 weeks ARO.
