TRACOPOWER’s New 40W DC-DC Converter Offers 4:1 Input Range
TRACOPOWER introduced its TEN-40WI series, a new range of dc-dc converter modules with 40W output power in a compact 2"x 2"x 0.4" shielded metal package with industry standard pinout. Ultra-wide 4:1 input ranges of 9-36 and 18-75Vdc make this product interesting for many applications including tele- and data communication, instrumentation, industrial process controls, and particularly for battery operated equipment.
Standard output configurations are single output 3.3V/ 10A, 5V/8A, 12V/3.3A, 15V/2.7A and dual output +/-12V/1.7A and +/-15V/1.3A models. High efficiency up to 88% allows a maximal operating temperature range of –40 to +85°C. As an option the modules are available with a clip-on heatsink for operation at high ambient temperatures. The TEN-40WI features short circuit protection, undervoltage lockout, input filter to EN 55022, class A, remote ON/OFF, trimmable output voltage and an I/O-isolation of 1500 Vdc. The product has a lead-free design and is fully RoHS compliant.
