Total Power Introduces New Medical Power Supplies

Total Power International Inc. announced two new power products for medical applications: its RPS60 Single Output, 60W Medical Switching Power Supply; and its MPS200 200W Open-Frame PFC Medical Supply.

The RPS60 has a Full-Range Universal Input, a 4" x 2" footprint and has a low leakage of <200uA. Protections include Short-Circuit, Over-Load and Over-Voltage. Cooling is obtained by free-air convection and no load power consumption is <0.75W. The fixed switching frequency is 100KHz. Safeties include UL60601-1/ IEC60601-1 Medical Safety approved. Outputs for the units include 3.3V, 5V, 12V, 15V, 24V and 48V. The unit will accept 90 – 264 Vac and 127 – 370Vdc. Environmental variables include a -20 – +70°C working temperature and a 20 – 90% RH non-condensing working humidity.

The new MPS200 offers high-power and state-of-art design for medical applications. The unit has Universal Input for 90 – 264Vac or 127 – 370Vdc. Protections include Short-Circuit, Over-Load, Over-Voltage & Over-Thermal Protection. The unit comes with built-in Remote Sense as well as Remote ON/OFF Control. The unit requires 25CFM to run at 200W. All units are tested at full load. Various outputs and currents are available.
