TDI Introduces New Signature Series Power System

June 15, 2004 by Jeff Shepard

Transistor Devices Inc. (TDI, Hackettstown, NJ) introduced its new Signature Power System for network power deployment. The Signature Power System integrates ac-dc, dc-dc and dc-ac power components into one cabinet to achieve a modular, scalable, tailored solution including N+1 parallel redundancy.

The Signature Power System is suitable for wireless network power, enabling network engineers to customize power systems by adding rectifiers, converters and inverters to meet specific site requirements without costly NRE or long lead-times. Systems range from 25 A to 2,000 A, and offer battery-backed +24 Vdc, -48 Vdc, 110 Vac, 220 Vac, or a combination. Multiple power distribution panels are available as well as low-voltage disconnect options. The entire power system is then managed by the ICON controller that requires no proprietary software or expensive upgrades.
