TDI Announces the LCE Series of Modular Inverters

The Advanced Conversion Products division of Transistor Devices Inc. (Cedar Knolls, NJ) announced the new LCE Series of 1.5kVA modular inverters, which operate from a standard 24Vdc-input and make the LCE suitable for use in wireless telecom, base-station and industrial applications.

The LCE Series is a hot-swappable inverter that automatically parallels and synchronizes to provide instantaneous load sharing. With an output power rating of 1.5kVA, the LCE can be combined in three- and four-bay 19" or 23" shelves, rated at 4.5kVA and 6.0kVA respectively, and is scaleable to 30kVA. In addition, 48Vdc input is available. The series has 120Vac or 220Vac output offerings, a 3U maximum height, and weighs less than 12 pounds.

The LCE Series is priced starting at $1,250 in quantities of 100. Typical delivery for standard units, with or without shelves, is one to two weeks.
