Taehwatrans Releases New Current Transformers

August 15, 2004 by Jeff Shepard

Taehwatrans Co. Ltd. (South Korea) released three-phase current transformers suited to motor control. Featuring a rated secondary output voltage of 185 mV, the current transformers can withstand circuit voltages up to 660 V (maximum) and can operate within the -10 °C to +60 °C temperature range. The devices have an insulation resistance of 100 megohms (minimum) and a dielectric strength of 2.5 kV (between coil and case).
