Sola/Hevi-Duty Intros S3K2U Line-Interactive UPS

Sola/Hevi-Duty (Skokie, IL) announced that it has improved the size-to-performance ratio of its rack-mountable uninterruptible power supply (UPS) line with the introduction of the new S3K2U, an ultra-slim, line-interactive UPS. The S3K2U is designed for seamless integration with workstations and power line conditioners, as well as robotic, industrial automation and process control systems.

Available with power ratings of 1,000VA, 1,440VA and 2,200VA, the S3K2U is built for networking or process control racks. The S3K2U is designed to be mounted in a standard 19in rack or in a tower configuration without requiring extra parts or space. Although compact, the S3K2U features surge protection for telephone and network connections, automatic voltage regulation topology, sine wave output, and configurable input/output. The advanced battery management system includes a remote power-off function and full-sequence, automatic bi-weekly battery testing to ensure power in deep sag situations.

Rack-mounting hardware and tower-mounting feet are included. Pricing starts at $869.
