November 03, 2003 by Jeff Shepard

Shindengen America Inc. (Westlake Village, CA) announced the new HNA Series family of non-isolated dc/dc converters. The HNA Series are designed as point-of-load converters for distributed power architecture designs in applications such as communications, computer, storage, and microprocessor-powered applications.

The HNA Series has an input-voltage range of 3V to 5V and is available with output voltages of 3.3V, 2.5V, 2V, 1.8V, 1.5V, 1.2V, 1V and 0.9V. Output current is 10A with efficiency ratings up to 95%. The industry-standard footprint of 33mm x 13.46mm x 8.28mm is designed for surface-mount applications where small size is critical. The HNA Series also features remote on/of, output over-current protection, over-temperature protection and an operating temperature range of -40°C to +85°C.

Sample quantities are available immediately from stock. Pricing at 1,000 pieces is $13.10.
