Shanghai Henglian Unveils MEA Series Capacitors

Shanghai Henglian Electronic Component Co. Ltd. (China) announced the MEA Series of axial and oval metallized polyester film capacitors, which are wrapped with mylar tape, sealed with epoxy resin, and feature a non-inductive construction with vacuum-evaporated metal electrodes and tinned-wire axial leads. The capacitors exhibit good capacitance values and self-healing properties, as well as high moisture resistance.

The operating temperature ranges from -40 to +85 degrees C. Capacitance values range from 10nF to 10µF at 100Vdc, 10nF to 6.8µF at 250Vdc, 10nF to 1.8µF at 400Vdc, and 10nF to 1µF at 630Vdc. Capacitance tolerance is ±5 percent, ±10 percent and ±20 percent. The dissipation factor is <0.8 percent at 1µF maximum capacitance and <1 percent at a capacitance of <1µF.
