Sanyo Electric and Tomy Develop NiMH Battery

Sanyo Electric Co. Ltd. (Japan) and Tomy have co-developed the Every Denchi, a nickel-metal hydride (NiMH) battery that is suitable for use in toys. The battery has a built-in positive temperature coefficient device that enables use up to 500 times on a single recharge. A set of AAA batteries will be available for $9.17.
