Distributor Rutronik presents RECOM’s new RP20-FR series of isolated 20W DC/DC converters. Especially designed for railway applications, they are also ideal for industrial and telecommunication applications.

The compact 2“x1“ modules of the RP20-FR series feature a wide 4:1 input voltage range (9-36V, 18-75V, 43-160V) and therefore cover all standard battery-board levels including the ±40% tolerance margin. Besides 3.3V, 5V, 12V and 15V single outputs, dual ±12V and ±15V outputs are also available. The control pin logic can be chosen to be positive or negative. The new DC/DC converters have an efficiency of up to 89% and feature a wide Tx operating temperature range of -40°C to +85°C (-HC versions with pre-mounted heatsink). The temperature range is achieved by natural convection. The modules are EN50155 certified with EN50121-1-3-2, EN61373 and UL/cUL-60950-1 approvals.
