Remco Ltd. (Hong Kong) announced its new RM12-100FT sealed lead-acid (SLA) battery made from high-compression absorbent glass mat technology, which features a lifespan of 10 years and an efficiency of >99 percent. The battery features front-accessible terminals and a square pattern side-wall design to reduce deflection in high-temperature areas.
The 490mm x 4.32mm x 9.2mm battery weighs 34.5kg, and operates at a nominal voltage of 12V and a capacity of 100Ah (20h rate). It has a lead-calcium alloy plate and one-way self-resealing safety vents with flame arresters. The case and cover of the RM12-10FT can be manufactured using high-impact resin ABS (UL 94HB) or flame-retardant ABS (UL 94V-0).
