Protek Intros Model P6000 DC Power Supply

Protek Test and Measurement (Allendale, NJ) introduced its new model P6000 programmable dc power supply, which features an RS 232/485 interface for personal computer or front-panel keyboard program entry. With ±36V at 3A output, the P6000 will store 10 voltage current settings in memory.

Program setting time is 10msec for voltage increase and 10msec for decreasing voltage. Volts, amps and power are displayed on a backlit LCD panel and operation is in constant-voltage and constant-current modes. Software is supplied on CD ROM with Active X modules for VC++, Visual Basic, Delphi and LabView (optional) capabilities.

The P6000 unit is priced at $299.
