Powerbox Presents Hyperion Series Power Supplies

Powerbox (Sweden) announced its new high-performance, single-output, open-frame, ac/dc power supply, the Hyperion Series, which provides 100W of output power in a standardized PCB size of 3in x 5in (76mm x 127mm). The power supplies are suitable for the telecommunications and datacommunications market, and industrial applications such as instrumentation and naval electronics.

The new Hyperion Series features ac/dc conversion through soft-switching; a high power density; single-outputs of 12Vdc, 24Vdc or 48Vdc; up-to-date resonant topology; an efficiency of up to 91 percent; and up to 100W of output power at convection cooling, with ambient temperatures of up to 50 degrees C.

The Hyperion Series also features embedded, built-in, active power-factor correction; meets the EN61000-3-2 standards; and meets the radiated EMC standards according to EN55022 Class B without additional metal shielding.
