Power-One Debuts HWD Series DC/DC Converters

Power-One Inc. (Camarillo, CA) announced its new 75W, dual-output HWD Series of dc/dc converters, which combine an industry-standard, half-brick footprint with a low profile of 12.7mm.

The HWD Series is available with an input range of 18Vdc to 60Vdc and dual outputs of 3.3Vdc and 5Vdc. Features include a two-percent set-point accuracy, capability to start up into a highly capacitive load, remote on/off and an independent output-voltage trim adjust. Protection features include output over-current, output over-voltage and over-temperature.

Pricing for the HWD Series is $84 each in quantities of 100 units. Evaluation units are usually available from stock. Production quantities are typically available in six to eight weeks.
