Phihong Debuts PSA-05R Series Power Adapter

Phihong USA (Fremont, CA) announced its new 5W R Series adapter, which features replaceable power plugs that are small, light and cost-effective, enabling the power supply to be connected to virtually any power outlet in the world. Applications include small and lightweight portable electronic products such as PDAs, digital cameras, MPEG players and other personal electronic devices.

The PSA-05R power supply is smaller than a business card, weighs 4oz, and features universal input, allowing it to operate for any worldwide line voltage from 90Vac to 264Vac. Various models provide a single output ranging from 3.3V to 12V.

The double-insulated adapter is safety approved to UL1950 and meets CE (LVD and EMC) requirements as well as QAS, PSE, TUV and cUL requirements. The unit meets FCC Class B and EN55022B conducted noise limits, and leakage current is less than 250µA.

The PSA-05R measures 2.8in x 1.8in x 1.4in. It includes a 70in cable with a center-positive 2.1mm barrel connector. Pricing is $13.30 for quantities of 100.
