OWC and NewerTech Intro Replacement NuPower Battery

Newer Technology Inc. (NewerTech) and Other World Computing (OWC) introduced a new high-capacity 1,800 mAh Apple iPod replacement lithium-polymer (Li-P) NuPower battery for all first-generation and second-generation iPod models, which offers 46% more capacity, and is available for the same price ($29.95) as the original 1,600 mAh battery. The ultra-high capacity 2,100 mAh NuPower, which offers 70% more capacity for the same model, also remains available for $39.95.

"The demand for our high-capacity iPod battery line has been quite intense since its introduction a few months ago," said OWC President Larry O'Connor. "In keeping with our traditions, we've had no problem ramping up to supply the ever-increasing demand, and we have further improved our product line with this new 1,800 mAh model.
