NIC Components Unveils NRSJ Series Capacitors

NIC Components Corp. (Melville, NY) announced the new NRSJ Series radial lead-aluminum electrolytic capacitors, which provide low ESR and impedance characteristics making them suitable for power-management and voltage-conditioning applications, including power supplies, dc/dc converters and switchers.

The NRSJ Series exhibit ESR and impedance down to 16 milliohms, and deliver high ripple current ratings up to 2.18A(rms). Capacitance values range from 0.1mF to 2.7mF, with a capacitance tolerance of ±20 percent. The voltage rating is from 6.3Vdc to 50Vdc. The NRSJ Series are specified for operation from -40 to +105 degrees C.

The capacitors, which are supplied in bulk or tape-and-reels, are available in case sizes measuring 8mm x 11.5mm, 8mm x 20mm, 10mm x 12.5mm, 10mm x 16mm and 10mm x 20mm.

Pricing ranges from $0.15 to $0.60 each in production volumes.
