Murrelektronik Debuts MOSA, M12 and M8 Adapters

Murrelektronik GmbH (Germany) announced its new quick-connection MOSA, M12 and M8 adapters, including self-locking screw connections, which are designed for round cables with a maximum of individual wires. The maximum connection frequency of a cable with the same cross section is 10. The new quick connection system drastically reduces wiring time compared to conventional connection systems.

The individual wires of the new adapters are contacted automatically in the insulation displacement contact by screwing down the union nut. A range of different versions is available for the M12 adapters, including three- and four-pole at 0.25mm-sq to 0.5mm-sq, three-pole with PE at 0.5mm-sq to 1.0mm-sq, and four-pole without PE at 0.5mm-sq to 1.0mm-sq. The M8 model is available in three- and four-pole at 0.25mm-sq to 0.5mm-sq. All models are available with straight and 90-degree connectors.
