Murata Debuts BLM15H Ferrite Bead Series

Murata Electronics North America Inc. (Smyrna, GA) introduced its BLM15H ferrite bead series, developed to provide EMI suppression into the gigahertz frequency range. With a reduction in size from the 0603 package size to a 0402 package size, the BLM15H Series is said to be the smallest ferrite bead available on the market that can provide noise suppression in the gigahertz frequency range.

High-frequency applications include I/O lines, computer interface lines, high-speed bus lines and digital equipment. The bead series does not contain lead. Samples are currently available at $0.0740 per unit. The current lead time is 8 to 10 weeks.
