Murata Electronics North America Inc. (Smyrna, GA) introduced its BLM15E 0402 surface-mount ferrite bead series. In addition to its filtering ability in the GHz range, the new series provides low dc resistance and high current ratings. The BLM15E Series is suitable for a variety of applications, including high frequency filtering for power line applications, I/O lines, computer interface lines, high-speed bus lines, compact digital equipment, and mobile and portable equipment.
The BLM15E Series does not contain lead. Samples are currently available at $0.09 per unit. The current lead time is six to eight weeks.
