Motech Americas LLC announced additions to its product line.
New cells enable the upper power limits on all modules to be pushed even higher. For example, 260W multicrystalline 60 cell modules and 310W 72 cell multicrystalline modules are available for order, all with positive tolerances and even higher powers are certified, ready for launch this year.
The modules are provided with 45mm frames which are high load tested, easier to carry by preventing hand overextension, and lighter to ship. 50mm frames are still available upon request. The three bus bar cell design reduces resistive loss, thus getting the most out of harvested power and preventing large areas of the cell from becoming isolated, and reducing micro cracking.
