Matsushita Announces the BR2450A Coin-Cell Lithium Battery

Matsushita Electric Ind. Co. Ltd. (Japan) announced the BR2450A, a high-capacity, high-durability, polycarbon monofluoride, coin-cell lithium battery. The BR2450A is especially optimized for tire air-pressure-sensor devices. It can also be employed as a memory backup-power supply for vehicle-mounted electronic devices.
Matsushita reports that the BR2450A has leakage resistance three times better than its previous products. The battery is also said to have improved moisture resistance. The critical working temperature has been extended from 85 to 125 degrees C.
